The University of Benin (UNIBEN), Benin City, has announced the activation of its hostel accommodation portal for the 2026/2027 academic session.
According to the Students News Bulletin, bed-space allocation under the “Fastest Finger” mode will commence on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 12:00 noon.
Interested students are advised to be ready before the portal opens, as bed spaces will be allocated on the stated basis.
The University also warned that any allocated bed space that is not cleared through payment and documentation within two days will be retrieved and reallocated.
Students are further reminded that the use of prohibited items, including hot plates, microwave ovens, washing machines, electric kettles and gas cookers, attracts severe disciplinary sanctions, including rustication or expulsion.
