LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY REOPENS INDIGENESHIP VERIFICATION PORTAL FOR JUPEB AND DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES
Lagos State University (LASU) has approved the reopening of its 2026/2027 Independent Indigeneship Verification Exercise (IIVE) portal for JUPEB and other Direct Entry (DE) candidates.
The special window is exclusively for Lagos State indigenes who selected LASU as their first-choice institution during the 2026 JAMB registration but have not participated in the verification exercise.
Key Details:
- Application period: Monday, October 12 – Friday, October 16, 2026.
- Eligible candidates: JUPEB graduates and other Direct Entry applicants who are Lagos State indigenes.
- Screening venue: New TETFund Building, Faculty of Arts.
- Requirement: Successful verification and clearance are mandatory for admission consideration.
How to Apply:
1. Confirm your eligibility.
2. Pay through the university’s official online payment portal.
3. Complete the online registration and retain your payment receipt and confirmation.
4. Attend the physical screening with your original documents, JAMB DE slip, evidence of Lagos State indigeneship and payment/registration confirmation.
5. Successfully verified candidates will receive an LASU Indigeneship Clearance Certificate.
Important: Do not pay through unauthorised individuals or accounts. Indigeneship clearance is a prerequisite for admission consideration but does not guarantee admission.
